NY’s First Cereal Bar Is A Breakfast Lover’s Dream
Somebody pinch me. Is this for real? A bar devoted entirely to cereal actually exists in Brooklyn? Yep, it’s true. So, for all of you cereal fanatics out there — this is the best news you’ve had all day. Containing 24 cereal options, 25 toppings and 5 types of milk, Kith Treats is a breakfast lover’s dream.
The idea for a bar for only cereal products started with an insane love of the food, even though he wasn’t allowed it as a kid. “When I was younger, I wasn’t allowed to eat sugary cereals in my house,” Ronnie Feig, the owner and creator of Kith Treats told Vanity Fair, “so I used to have to go to my friend’s house to sneak it in. I was obsessed. When I would go to school, my father used to make me lunch and I would sell it for a dollar so that I could go buy cereal. I used to eat Frosted Flakes with chocolate milk every day.” That doesn’t sound like a bad idea to me, in fact, I’m fixing myself a bowl of cereal and chocolate milk as we speak!
With so many cereal and topping combinations to choose from, you could go there and never have the same thing twice. Whether you’re more of a Cinnamon Toast Crunch or a Fruity Pebbles kind of person, there’s a little something here for everyone. Can’t choose just one cereal?
