Vintage Items That The Labels & Lacquer Girls Are Loving At The Moment

Some things never go out of style, and the Labels and Lacquer girls are loving a couple of vintage items, in particular, right now. What old timey items have stolen our hearts, you may wonder? Well, it happens to be polaroid cameras and record players, as a matter of fact.

There’s just something to love about watching a record spin and shaking a polaroid, anxiously waiting for your picture to develop. These items have gotten somewhat of a modern upgrade— the record player I own also acts as an iPhone/iPod dock, for example— but they still have a certain air of nostalgia to them. I’ve been playing Adele’s “25” and Sam Smith’s “In The Lonely Hour” vinyls on repeat, and it’s cool that even modern music comes in this old school format, don’t you think?

Darby got a polaroid camera for Christmas (a pink one, of course), and we’ve had so much fun taking photos with it. Polaroid film has a distinct vintage look to it, and we haven’t been able to get enough of it. At the very least, the camera’s enabled us to up our Instagram game, for sure.

If you’re loving the idea of going all throwback in the photo and music department as much as we are, check out the products below. Take it from us— you’re going to want to scoop these up for yourself!

Crosley X UO Portable Record Player, $169, Urban Outfitters

This isn't the same one that I have, but I just love how this one looks. Plus, it's portable, so you could easily take your music with you if you wanted to because you're a gal-on-the-go, after all.

FujiFilm Instax Instant Camera, $100, Urban Outfitters

How cute is this pink camera? This is the exact same one that Darby has, and it's pretty amazing. It comes in a variety of colors, too, in case, pink isn't your thing. But, you do have to admit that this one's adorable.

Channel yesteryear with these vintage products because they really are oldies, but goodies.
