How To Have An Interactive Christmas Party
There are several ways for your guests to feel right at home at your party. Have you guest join in, in the fun to make your Christmas party the best yet. We are sharing 6 ways on how your company can get involved in the Christmas Party.
For us, we love quality family time. And when the family feels like they are a part of the get-together that's makes it more fun. Fun is the key to all of these ideas. We are also able to create an unique experience for the guests, for them to talk about for hopefully years to come.
Last year we did a hot cocoa station on Christmas day. We had hot chocolate made in a croc pot. Snowmen mugs were set up beside the hot chocolate. We also dipped marshmallows into red and green candy melts and covered them with sprinkles. The marshmallows were on festive candy cane- like sticks that could stir the hot cocoa. We loved being able to have that set up so our family could mingle and then go make a cup of cocoa whenever they felt like it.

1. Hot Cocoa Station

2. Tic-Tac-Toe Christmas Cookies

This is too cute for words. You make a sugar cookie tic-tac-toe board. Then make Hs and Os instead of Xs and Os to play the game. This is especially great for kids. Who am I kidding? I want to play this Santa version of tic-tac-toe.
3. Cookie Icing Station

One thing Darby makes every year for the holidays are her sugar cookies. It's fun to get people involved in the icing process so they can make their own signature cookie. They get to choose the icing and the sprinkles on top.
Here's what you need to do:
Make the sugar cookies and icing. Recipe: Here
Separate the icing into multiple bowls. Add a few drops of food coloring into each bowl. Mix. (This gives the guests options for their cookie's icing.
Place Icing in Mini Piping Bags. Buy here.
Buy various festive sprinkles.
Put wax paper down on the table.
Assemble icing bowls, sprinkles, and cookies.
Then you're ready to begin the sugar cookie party!
4. Cooking Class Set-Up
Augusta has our mom did a cooking class in Savannah. They loved it and had so much fun. This year Augusta suggested re doing some of the recipes they learned in class, since the class was dedicated to Christmas recipes. We were thinking of kind-of recreating the cookie class in our home. That way people can be included in the cooking process and it really creates an experience for our guests.
For this you really just need to have all the ingredients assembled in a central place in your kitchen. With the proper bowls/plates. Just so everyone is included!
5. Ugly Sweater Cake Decorating

I found this recipe on Pinterest and fell in love with the idea. Everyone can dress up in their ugly sweaters and decorate them too!
For this you just need to:
Follow the recipe to make the cake. (You could either make one cake or mini cakes for the guests)
Buy candy to decorate the cake with.
Buy more edible candy decorations. Here.
Ice The Cake. (We suggest pre-icing the cake, that way the guests can just add decorations. Less mess this way!)
Place the cake(s) on a table. Along with decorations set-up.
Let the fun begin!
6. Christmas Sock Decorating

This kit is from Urban Outfitters. We can't wait to get ours to decorate our very own socks. Augusta found this and we knew we had to include it into this round-up. You can buy multiples of these kit and set it up. Then everyone at the party can have ugly Christmas socks!
