Celebrate National Daiquiri Day With These Daiquiri Recipes
Happy National Daiquiri Day!! We were unaware of this glorious holiday until yesterday but July 19th is officially National Daiquiri Day! Thankfully, we whipped up this blog post just in time. Because even if you don't have all these ingredients on hand, it is well worth a quick trip to the grocery store to gather all the supplies.
When we were younger our mom would order us virgin strawberry daiquiris at every restaurant we went to. It kept us busy and we wouldn't constantly ask when are food would come out or want to get up and run around. Along with coloring the children's menu, we would sip on our daiquiris. It kept us happy and we also thought we were soo cool. It was a quite genius idea, actually. In fact we still would like to be served a daiquiri as soon as I'm seated at a restaurant. :) The only thing that has changed is we don't have to order them without the alcohol anymore.
